![]() ![]() Period.Ĭonsumable fighters and spotter planes already experience this situation. ![]() My point is that if it is a plane, then it should be subject to AA when it nears the AA bubble of an enemy ship. To me, it’s just a means of deploying a depth charge to defend bigger ships the lack of ability to do so which was kvetched long and loud about in the recent test.Īre you saying then that normal depth charges should be able to be ‘stopped’ somehow?Įxpanding on what I said previously, if as a consumable, the depth charge dropping aircraft is going to replace a spotter or fighter, then there is NO QUESTION that it should both be able to spot, as well as be subject to AA.īut once again if it is merely a ‘flying depth charge rail,‘ separate from the spotter or fighter then no, it shouldn’t be able to spot, or be affected by AA.Īccording to the Youtube video of the Crysantos/Tuccy/Mr.Conway/ of submarines, what I remember was that the ASW Plane for a BB or Heavy Cruiser would come from some magical place off of the map when called by the ship. ![]() This still isn’t the same thing as far as I’m concerned. ![]()
